The visit to Elwell Fruit Farm in the LACA South West of England Region is a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the valuable contribution that local farmers make to our sector. Encouraging pupils to eat more fruit and vegetable is also a vital component towards creating a healthier society. The National Food Strategy has vowed to reshape the food system from farm to fork by looking at the production, marketing, processing, sale and purchase of food across the UK’s food chain.
