National School Meals Week (NSMW) is the one week of the year when we celebrate all that is GREAT about school food. Each year has a different theme based on relevant issues and fun events to get everyone enjoying school food.

NSMW 2022 plans to be announced soon, keep visiting to see how you can make the week a success

What happened in 2021?

NSMW 2021 was held 8th – 12th November, The week contained events and campaigns to get involved with at school, at home and on social media. We encouraged students of all ages to get back into the dining rooms during the week to see how great school lunches are.

Primary students got involved by staying for one of the many fun themed events from ‘Mix it up Monday’ to the ‘Plant Based Power Lunch’ to our very own ‘School Tucker Trial’.

Secondary students got back to enjoying great school food that’s on offer. School food has changed over the years with food that wouldn’t be out of place on the high street and plant based meals to suit health and lifestyles.
